VFC Mock Meat Mix


Directions: In a bowl, empty dry mix. Add 1 cup (240ml) of boiling water. Mix with a spoon until blended. Knead firmly for five minutes (CAUTION - could be hot). Once kneaded, tear into golf ball sized pieces and simmer in water for 50 minutes. Drain and coat each piece in flour and seasonings (L.V recommends salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic, onion and thyme). Deep fry for 5 minutes. Allow to drain and cool on a wire rack for 5 mins and serve! Enjoy!
